Happy Hour Friday – “Jack Rose”

1 1/2 ounces applejack, apple brandy such as Calvados, or apple eau-de-vie
1 ounce lemon or lime juice
1/2 ounce grenadine syrup (or more, to taste)

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an optional apple slice and/or maraschino cherry.

The wine labels, devised by designer Rob Schellenberg, are based on the longitudes of Italy and it’s famous wine regions. Depending on the degrees north, the wine region was associated with a numerical logo and topographic map.

Building off its original collaborative t-shirt back in 2008, famed Japanese architectural firm Wonderwall teams up with KAWS yet again, this time bringing that same tee graphic to life in the form of a vinyl figure. It seems like a release is slated for next month, with two different colorways being made available.

DustTag Graffiti Analysis for iPhone

DustTag is an iPhone application designed for graffiti writers that visualizes the motion involved in the creation of a tag. Motion data is recorded, analyzed and archived in a free and open database, 000000book.com, where writers can share 3-D animated representations of their hand styles. All tags created in DustTag are saved as Graffiti Markup Language (GML) files, a new digital standard used by other popular graffiti applications such as Laser Tag and EyeWriter.

DustTag is fully compatible with the Graffiti Analysis 2.0 software suite, which is available online for free on the DOWNLOADS page and can be used to playback DustTag creations from the iPhone on OSX, Windows or Linux desktop systems.
